Braised chicken thighs with mushrooms and leeks are the ideal foods for a pleasant climate in cold climates. Nothing makes a cold winter's night more bearable than a hot, hot meal cooked in the oven. Some dishes that I would like to prepare in winter are steamed rolls with potatoes and vegetables, turmeric chicken steamed with beets and leeks.
