Brussels sprouts Carbonara

Brussels Sprouts Carbonara –  a 15 minute meal that is delicious!

This dish combines some of my favorite things - shredded caramelized Brussels sprouts, pasta and bacon in a delicious creamy sauce, which takes about 15 minutes to do.

I yesterday for lunch and Karina, loved my elder daughter. I do not want to use white paste, but I think that the whole wheat pasta would be here, so my favorite uses a gluten-free Fusilli DeLallo, like white pasta, perfectly al dente texture tastes. If it is in your area, you can order it here. You can, of course, any pasta you want.

Veggie Lasagna Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms – low-carb, gluten-free and vegetarian


Portobello mushrooms, stuffed with spinach, peppers, cheese and marinara sauce - a delicious meatless meal that is low in carbohydrates and genius enough!

This recipe is inspired by Jim Carver, who shared his love for stuffed portobello mushrooms with me. I took his idea and made a mushroom lasagna style, topped with home marinara sauce and some cheese and baked in the oven. He came out of this experience, ideal for vegetarians, carbers low gluten or for those who want to enjoy a meal without meat.

Some tips for success - looking for large caps with high walls with cracks on the sides, so that the filling does not come out when cooked. The only photo below is perfect, I had one that was fairly flat, and made a big mess in my back, but still very tasty, but it's not a perfect picture!


I've tried with and without the egg and egg had found a filled without runnier, one with the egg held together better. They are the way to go. Hope you enjoy, glide quickly stuffed mushrooms!

Cucumber, Parsley, Pineapple and Lemon Smoothie – dairy-free, paleo and vegan!

I went to a sudden disturbance of all summer is my go to breakfast after a workout and a great way to clean my refrigerator. Instead of juices, smoothies use all fruits and vegetables to get the nutrients in the skin and have more fiber to keep you full longer. This beautiful healthy smoothie is surprisingly sweet and delicious, made absolutely no milk - delicious!

I use the Blender Cookbook girl shakes a lot this summer. The author Tess Masters a master mix! His book 100 smoothie recipes that are healthy, vegan and gluten-free paleo. I tried both the book and have each one that I've tried so far.

This particular batter's allergies go in his book. Author Tess says "Parsley is for alleviating inflammation, asthma and allergies in the air. The mineral salts this mixture neutralizes acid, cleans the blood, cleanses the skin, detoxifies the tissues and organs, helps heavy metals, flushes the kidneys and helps healthy urinary tract. "

Shrimp Ceviche with Avocado Salad

Shrimp Ceviche and Avocado Salad – an easy, delicious, low-carb dish.

Chilled shrimp ceviche served in an avocado half on a bed of rocket salad - a light, refreshing salad that tastes so good, and bonus points for low-carb, gluten-free and friendly Paleo.

I love the ceviche and the myriad ways that you can do. This recipe for shrimp ceviche is my friend Doreen made with vinegar and a touch of honey to balance the acidity. If you follow a diet Whole30, you can stop the honey, still be a great taste.
