Puerto Rico style beans
my husband favorite food is rice and beans. I do not do it as often as you like, so this was his request for Valentine's dinner with breaded pork chops (I will share this recipe tomorrow).
This is my quick version of grains style of Puerto Rico, I do, either canned beans and potatoes diced pink or red, ideal when a quick page is required. Originally published in 2009 (original photo below based Jewish pink) and took the opportunity to repeat the recording.
We serve over white rice, but brown is also great as a plate of chicken, pork chops or steak. You can a meatless dish with avocado with rice, served to make (and a little hot sauce!) And it is significant to have a meal.
I'm usually in my freezer sofrito, I make big batches that for seeds and other dishes. Here I went to an exact amount, but if you use your own home I 1/4 cup.
